Please help...I don't know where else to go.

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read my story. My name is Kate and I am a sporty, 44 year old single mum of two amazing girlies. I currently live in Italy with my Italian partner and work as an English teacher.

I have never done anything like this before, and never thought I would have to but I now find myself reaching out to anyone who might be able to help me.

To cut a long story short, whilst out on my MTB (I am a very cautious and careful cyclist who always sticks to the roads, never off road) I had a very bad accident and managed to smash my face in, hitting it full on the ground. I can't tell you how lucky I was that a very kind man stopped to help me and call an ambulance, and also that I managed to stay conscious and not have major internal trauma or breaks.

The reason why I'm asking for help is because the main injury I sustained from this accident was losing two teeth (possibly four). If anyone has ever had to have major dental work done, you know how expensive this can be and I was expecting a high cost, but I must admit that after an initial visit to the dentist here, I almost passed out when he told me how much the work would cost!

I honestly don't have that kind of money available and don't have any means to be able to get it from anywhere else. I don't want to make this into a sob story but I really don't know what else to do.....

My appearance has never been that impportant to me, but for my work (mainly with children), what is impportant is to have a nice and encouraging smile. When teaching English (or any other language) obviously the mouth is the main focus of attention and not having at least a half decent presentable mouth would really affect my work and I can't afford to lose this job.

I am not asking for the full amount I would need as I already feel insanely guilty doing this, but I hope there are some kind and generous people out there that are willing to help me get some or hopefully all of the work done.

Please, please, please donate whatever you can, and I am fully aware that there are people out there with considerably more serious situations than mine. Hopefully you can help me out and if you do, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
