Please Help Zandra Rebuild After Tragic Loss and Accident

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Rodrick. I am Zandra's one and only son. My mother just lost her husband of 15 years to dementia and cancer. He was hospitalized a few weeks ago, feeling very weak and incoherent. Once he was admitted, they found large amounts of fluid in his lungs and what appeared to resemble signs of cancer. Dementia set in fast and hard in that week. Angel (my mother's husband) could not recognize his wife of 15 years or his own son. The last few days in the hospital, Angel stopped talking and hardly ever opened his eyes. A week later, Angel was admitted to hospice. Today, January 22, 2026, Angel Molina passed.

During my mother's time traveling home to take a shower and head back to the hospital, with all the stress, crying, and being overwhelmed, she was in a very bad accident in the only car they had. The accident was bad enough to total the car. It is a miracle she was able to walk away. I have the pictures of the accident and will share if I can.

Unfortunately, nothing was taken care of due to this sudden illness and death. Angel and my mother had put off life insurance thinking they had more time. The only thing they took care of was cremation. In this inflationary economy, neither one had retired from a job, and both were living off social security.

Now, my mother is alone and heartbroken, trying to do what she can to take care of affairs and issues as they come up. I will have to go get my mother and bring her to Texas to stay with me until I can get her a place close to me in Texas. I am trying to get her small apartment she shared with Angel packed up and moved to Texas. I have just started a new job, and I am still in the probation stage of employment. This means I will have to use any vacation I will get this year right now just to move her to Texas. We will have to utilize one vehicle until I can get her back on her feet and figure out if insurance is going to give her anything for the totaled car. She will bring as little as possible: some clothes, her bed, and her sewing machine (her hobby and passion).

Please, anyone who has read this, I am not asking for a million dollars; I just need some help to get my mother to me so I can make sure she is safe and has a loving home to live in until she can get back on her feet.

My mother is a beautiful person and would give anyone the shirt off her back to make sure they had clothes. She is a devout Christian and attends church every Sunday. She volunteers at all church functions. PLEASE and THANK YOU to anyone who is able to help out in anyway. And if you can't, Thank You for taking time out of your busy day to read our story.
