Friends,
You will recall that, last March, you generously contributed to a fund to help support the servers, bar tenders and kitchen staff at the Club at Glenmore to help get them through the initial stages of the COVID pandemic and reduced working hours. You and almost three hundred other Glenmore members contributed approximately $30,000 through this initial endeavor. It was an amazing success, thanks to you.
The club has been responsive in initiating new services for members, including an extensive meal take out and delivery service, Glenmore store, virtual cooking class, etc., but the staff is far from returning to the work load they experienced pre-pandemic. As a result, a number of our members have suggested the need for an additional fund raising effort for the service staff to keep them employed at Glenmore and assist them through this difficult time.
We set up this website so you can conveniently donate. As in the previous campaign, we are asking you to consider at least $100, although any amount would indeed be welcome.
We would like to at least match the amount from the last time of $30,000 for 22 serving staff members.
Please contribute promptly as we will end our campaign on February 28, 2021.
Liem Nguyen ( or one of the organizers) will withdraw the net proceeds ( contributions minus GoFundMe’s required fees). 100% of the net proceeds will go directly to the 22 serving staff members).
