Hi everyone, my name is Yahaira. I never thought I’d have to make one of these, but life has hit me hard lately, and I’m really struggling to get back on my feet.
Recently, I was in a car accident that completely changed everything. My car was not just a vehicle — it was my livelihood. I worked full-time driving for Lyft, and that was my only source of income. Losing my car meant losing my ability to earn a living, and it’s left me in a really tough financial spot.
Right now, I’m behind on rent, bills, and car payments. I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and look for other work, but without a working car, it’s been nearly impossible. I can’t afford to pay my insurance deductible to repair my car, and until that happens, I can’t get back to driving and rebuilding my stability.
These past few days have been full of stress and uncertainty — trying to figure out how to keep a roof over my head, food on the table, and my car from being taken away. It’s been overwhelming.
