Dakota and Jessica Duran’s Son Has Leukemia
Donation protected
Originally taken to the hospital for what was expected to be a routine diagnosis and recommendation for treating cold-like symptoms, Xayden was quickly rushed by ambulance to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.
After days of waiting, it wasn’t until Father’s Day that their worst fears were confirmed. Sweet Xayden was diagnosed with Leukemia. Xayden’s family has been devastated by the news.
At only 9 years old, and so much life left ahead of him, Xayden is determined to battle this diagnosis. Before tragedy struck Xayden’s passions included playing Pokémon and loving on animals. His little heart is set on rescuing any animal in need of help. When Xayden grows up he dreams of one day becoming a chef.
In-person school and social activities will be put on hold for the next two years due to his now compromised immune system.
Xayden has already undergone his first surgery, inserting catheters in his chest in preparation for chemotherapy. This brave little soldier is prepared to fight this battle head on. His parents, Jessica and Dakota, would like to remain by his side throughout this endeavor. Your donations will go toward initial medical and living expenses, allowing Xayden’s parents to solely focus on their only child’s recovery.
Any amount you can donate will not be taken for granted. Your altruism means so much in these troubling times. Along with your generous monitory contribution, sharing Xayden’s story can also support in achieving our goal.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity. God bless.
