My eight year old nephew Wyatt is facing his third battle with brain cancer. This is such a devastating time for my
sister in law Tania, my brother Christopher, Wyatt's brother Ben and all our family. Wyatt is so brave and strong and such a fighter! We know he will win this battle!
Wyatt's mother Tania has been in the hospital for over two years now! She is fighting her own battle with Lymphoma, Cardiac problems and other diabetic complications. Tania's mobility has been affected and she is in a wheelchair. We don't know when she will be able to return home.
On top of everything Christopher unexpectedly lost his job on Dec.15/17. The financial burden is overwhelming. I want Tania and Christopher to be able to give Wyatt their full attention and not have to worry about anything else and neither of them woud ask themselves.
We have now been told that surgery and radiation are too dangerous at this time. Wyatt's best course of treatment is a Phase 1 Clinical Trial with Chemotherapy. This willnbe starting soon and will be in either Ottawa or possibly Toronto.
