Hello all!

I have started this gofundme for my dear friend Vivian Achieng. She had to have an emergency stenosis spinal surgery this past Tuesday. Thankfully she had a great team at Mount Sinai and had a successful surgery. She is in great spirits and thankful for all the love she has received from everyone. She's now recovering at home with a visiting nurse and physical therapist, but unfortunately she will not be able to work for a few months.

Just before this incident, the restaurant she managed for seven years closed, leaving her unemployed. She had just recently decided to launch her own catering business full time. She is now essentially incapacitated with the exception of very minor movement for at least a couple months.

Vivian is such a wonderful, giving person! She has been there for me and so many others in our times of need. She needs our help right now with overhead, aftercare and medical expenses. Let's please come together and make her recovery as stress-free as possible!
