Please help with vet bills for Blue Acuna

Hi everyone!  Meet Blue, the most friendliest husky you will ever meet. She is my sister Victoria's fur baby and they need your help!

Blue came into my sister Victoria's  life 5 years ago and has become and integral part of the family.  She guarded my grandfather and stood by his side when his health deteriorated, as well as entered Victoria's life when things were looking bleak.  When you hear the saying "I don't know who saved who"  that 100% applies to their relationship, as Blue and Victoria are completely inseparable.  Blue loves nature, the beach and when my dad sneaks her scooby snacks.  Victoria will probably kill me when she sees this, because she is usually the one helping someone out and not one to ever ask for help.  Must be those Acuna genes :)

So, now that we have an introduction, let me explain why I have created this GoFundMe.   Blue got hurt very badly last week after getting hit by a school bus.   She had to get  rushed to the animal hospital in Guilford, CT.  To save her life, she had to get a blood transfusion and emergency surgery, which unfortunately included getting a back leg amputated. All animal lovers out there know that you would do whatever it takes to save your fur child.

So, now is where the hard part comes in...the bill. My sister is still in school and juggling a couple of jobs, and  just like everyone else, covid has hit her industry hard.   All donations received will 100% go  towards paying off the vet bill.  I will update the total cost as well as post the  bill once I get a copy of it.

Updates on Blue's health will be given periodically.  Today she is able to get up by herself and just happy to be at home with Victoria.
