Please help with Skye’s Urgent Medical Care.

I had to make the hardest decision of my life today. Skye has a lymph node measuring up to 1.06cm in her pancreas that is necrotic. No blood flow. Also could be Carcinomatotosis. My Skye was in a tremendous amount of pain, even with all of the pain medication she was on. She gave me the “look.” I knew that look. I made the calls and we spent the evening with Skye. Crying, talking about memories. I will miss my morning “Skye, give mommy huggies” and she’d give me her hugs. I will always miss my snuggles with my baby. Hearing her pitter patters across the floor. Skye was the Queen of the house.

Skye crossed the rainbow bridge and we all were with her. She looked in my eyes as she crossed so she knew she was safe.

Today was the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life. But I know my baby isn’t in any more pain. She won’t have any more crystals, no more UTIs, no more health issues.

I will forever miss you, my baby girl.

Hey all. I hate to come on here asking for help but I am for my Skye Fly.

Anyone who knows me, knows that my Skye Fly is my baby. She is my world. On Wednesday night, she vomited her dinner up, her belly was hard, gobbled it back up before I could clean it up and threw it back up. Threw up atleast 8-9 times. The rest of the night, she kept licking her lips, throwing up water, restless, laying long (distending her abdomen). I called the vet the first thing Thursday morning. I wasn’t able to get a sick day appointment at either of the sister vets. Luckily another vet was able to take her in an emergency appointment.

Thursday we found out that Skye has pancreatitis. Very bad. They did an ultrasound, x-ray. She came home with meds an ID food since she has to already be on CD, she doesn’t want her to have homemade and high fat foods. Then all night she was so restless and uncomfortable again. She vomited water up so I called the vet back. They said no water or food the rest of the night. She had no appetite, so then all night Thursday she was licking her lips. Restless.

That bill was $473.78.

The vet texted me Friday morning asking how Skye was. I let them know that Skye threw up water and her cerenia (for nausea) and said that the Dr is very concerned and to bring her in. Turns out not only does she have pancreatitis, but my Skye has acute kidney failure.

The vet put her on fluids til I got there and said that she needs 24 hour care and stronger medication.

Another ultrasound, bloodwork, iv fluids with a nurse with her. $941.07.

I trust this doctor because did everything for Skye in her time of need.

Skye is now at Mason Dixon Animal Emergency Hospital in Shrewberry.

Skye has a severe case of pancreatitis, fluid in the stomach, a urinary catheter in.

Yesterday this was quoted anywhere from $3-$6. But now that the fluid and another day is on, it may be more.

Skye needs all of the prayers and help.
