Please help with Reesie’s medical bills!

Hi, my name is Wendy and I’m fundraising for my sweet girl’s cancer treatment.
Back on Feb. 23, 2023, I found out my 6-year-old English Bulldog Reesie has lymphoma. Needless to say, I was devastated. I adopted her from Southern California Bulldog Rescue soon after I lost my 13-year-old English Bulldog Ellie, and she’s only been with me for three short years. In that time, she’s become my whole world.
I was so blessed to get in to see my longtime, trusted pet oncologist at a Vet Specialty Hospital in San Diego the next day. During Reesie’s first visit, our oncologist ran a test to confirm whether she had lymphoma or an aggressive form of leukemia. When the results came back, I was very relieved to find out she does not have leukemia. However, it was confirmed that she does have B-cell lymphoma, which we can fight. With aggressive leukemia, chemo wouldn’t have helped her hopefully achieve remission and be here a little longer bringing a smile to the face of everyone she meets — especially her mommy!
Reesie has since begun a weekly chemo regimen at the hospital, which is an hour-long drive from my home and also very costly. I had just paid off and closed my CareCredit bill from my previous bulldog right before I found out about Reesie’s diagnosis. So, I had to get a new CareCredit card, which I’ve almost charged to the limit. I also was fortunate to have pet insurance. However, while my pet insurance has been paying a portion of the treatment costs, I’ve unfortunately reached my annual limit and have to wait until the new year starts for them to help with my bills once again.
I am grateful that I have a wonderful job that allows me to work full-time from home and great bosses who let me take time off every week to take Reesie to her chemo treatments. But since she will be undergoing her chemo protocol for several more months to come, I’m concerned about not having the funds to continue. So far, she has made good progress, and I would love to be able to help my sweet girl. Some of the treatments run around $1,300 per visit, which is becoming overwhelming and a hardship.
If you can see it in your heart to donate toward her care, I would be very appreciative. Any amount at all would help. Even if you’re not able to help monetarily, I would still love you to consider sending both of us your loving thoughts and prayers for a miracle as we continue on this lengthy journey. Please know she's a little fighter! Thank you so much, in advance, for your help.
