My dog Pepper is an 8-year-old cocker spaniel who tore his ACL. Surgery is required to repair it. It took me three months to finally see the veterinarian who will be fixing his ACL due to COVID-19. He needs to get his ACL fixed ASAP, and I wish I had started trying to raise funds earlier, but I had no clue how much it would cost. The estimate, to say the least, was a surprise. I have been trying to get financial assistance with zero luck and have decided to try and raise funds for his surgery. He loves to chase balls, go on walks, and run around at the park and beach. None of which is happening anymore, and he is a bit depressed.

For my part, I am disabled due to a chronic illness and cannot afford a $4,200 plus vet bill. I am sure it will be more due to aftercare. My income is too low to qualify to finance it with CareCredit, so here I am asking for assistance from anyone willing to help out. I love Pepper deeply. He is my only companion, and I cannot even imagine what my life would be like without this sweet little guy giving me snuggles and kisses. He is my registered emotional support dog, and he earns this title daily.
 
He loves all his babies, and he sleeps with them too.

I have looked into pet insurance, and they do not cover any pre-existing conditions. This year I have paid vet bills for three ear infections, a minor eye surgery, and vaccinations totaling over $5,600, which has wiped out my savings. The three ear infections and eye surgery are considered pre-existing conditions. It has been a hefty vet expense year for me, and it is not over.
 
Did I mention that he is ball-obsessed? He has indoor and outdoor balls. Please throw the ball, please, please, please!

 

 

Please help me get this guy out chasing balls again! He wants to play so badly and does not understand why no one will play with him anymore, poor little guy. His activity is being kept to a minimum, which means no running around or anything unnecessary. Thank you for every little bit that you give. Pepper thanks you too!
