Help me survive with Leukemia.

Donation protected
At the age of 48 - I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (a blood cancer for which NO cure as yet to be found,) along with Fibromyalgia and an Interstitial Lung Disease to boot, all at once and shortly after celebrating the New Year in January 2016.

Almost immediatly thereafter;  due to the ever increasing and crippling bone and muscle pain as well as the long term difficulty breathing I encountered while not discounting the side effects from the myriad of medications, I was forced to give up my desk and leave work permanently in March of 2016.

Hence overtime,  little by little, I have been forced to flatten and liquidate  all of my longer term positions, savings and assets from my miscellaneous Margin,  Cash,  TFSA, RRSP and LIRA  accounts.  Unfortunately due to a prior divorce I  no longer own property nor many assets.

Now, in light of full disclosure I can honestly tell you the majority of those monies went to paying the taxes as well as early withdrawal penalties in order to debit the required lump sums every year so as to make rent month over month, buy basic groceries and be able to afford my ever increasing monthly prescriptions, not forgetting the accompanying travel expenses incurred when going to the city to see specialists and receive treatments; and although i am the recipient of some  government help it doesn't come close to meeting my monthly requirements.
All the while; I continue to try and teach the skills I had worked so hard to acquire up until now, but even that is becoming harder and harder to accomplish...

So i ask of you, If i have ever have had a positive influence on you or your life's outcome please donate monetarily a little of it back today, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Jean-François Boucher (09/68)

Update * Most recently (07/2019) multiple enlarged lymph nodes have been discovered and were measured both in my neck and right groin area; i do believe it is the natural progression for this illness, while next to enlarge is expected to be my spleen.  I'll keep updating this page.
