Please help with Melez Dog Rescue 's costs
Donation protected
Can you help us raise funds to pay for Melez Dog Rescue's vet bills and food costs?
Lisanne set up the rescue single-handedly in 2018. Melez Dog Rescue started out as small, simple enclosure with a handfull of lucky dogs. Since then, the enclosure has grown into a big, busy shelter holding over 60 dogs. With a large dog enclosure situated in an olive grove, and a smaller puppy pad for the younger and smaller dogs, the shelter is a safe haven for rescue dogs who have overcome many hardships on the streets. Some dogs were born on the streets and have overcome injury and illness, some have been surrendered by cold-hearted owners, some have been rescued from situations of neglect, some were strays who begged to be taken off the streets. All deserve a better life!
The Melez Dog Rescue shelter is run singlehandedly by Lisanne, with a team of volunteers helping with social media and adoptipons. We're all working towards the goal of giving these deserving dogs a good life. To date, we have rescued and rehomed over 200 dogs, and we are working hard to save even more!
With the number of dogs under our care continuously increasing and hyperinflation in Turkey driving our costs up quickly, we have really started struggling to pay off our vet bills and to be able to afford enough food for all the dogs.
Your donations will directly go to helping our dogs stay well-fed and healthy.
Thank you so much!
