Please help with medical equipment for Alivia!

Hi my name is Dawn Morris, my husband and I are raising funds to help cover cost for my step daughter Alivia Morris. Alivia has muscular dystrophy, specifically, Bethlems myopathy, a progressive disease causing severe muscle weakness, including weakness of her heart and lung muscles. Currently Alivia is in the PICU, it’s only day 3 of her hospital stay but we know at minimum she’ll come home on a bipap machine to help with her breathing. We are asking for help with some other additional equipment she’ll need when she gets home. Equipment for transfers, toileting and bathing.

Recently, while on a visit out of town with family, she suffered a fall out of her wheelchair; resulting in multiple fractures of both legs, making transferring even for difficult for her. Unfortunately, and coincidentally a decline in her disease process led to this current ICU stay 2 days later after her fall. We are trying to raise funds for an automatic lift, equipment to help with her bathing, toileting as well as minor construction to widen the bathroom door.
