Anyone who knows me knows how much Klaus means to me. There is no me without Klaus.

At the end of January the boys and I made a big decision and we moved. Initially we thought Klaus was stressed from the move but it turns out that wasn't all that was going on.

It started out as throwing up here and there but quickly escalated to everyday, then it was several times a day.. We brought him into the vet and the xrays were clear and bloodwork didn't give us much answers either.

He got his appetite back but still was throwing up at least once a day..

We then opted into an ultrasound.

With the ultrasound we found Klaus had inflammation on his pancreas and his intestines as well as a unidentifiable foreign body in his intestines.

Finally with a diagnosis of acute pancreatitis, we were able to help him a bit. He's now on some pain meds and some neasea meds as well.

As I write this on Feb 23rd, he hasn't thrown up for 5 days! We still don't know if he's out of the woods yet but we are confident and hopeful he's on the mend!!

I've given my everything to making Klaus feel better because I wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately the vet bills have added up and we aren't sure if we're done with them just yet either.
