Abbey Macnamara is a Respiratory Therapist that has worked through the covid pandemic. On 10/14, she came home to her mother sick. Thinking it was a simple cold, she gave her multiple breathing treatments to alleviate her mother’s shortness of breath. As the night went on, her shortness of breath turned into respiratory distress. Abbey called 911 for help. After over 8 hours, her mother was intubated and is currently on a ventilator fighting for her life. Her mother is critically ill and the family is worried about medical bills as they are still paying for their younger daughters’ death that happened 5 years ago next month.
