Please help with Juno's tail amputation expenses
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Karen and I am setting up this fundraiser for Juno my cat. Back story: Juno developed a w ound on his tail which I was able to nurse back to healthy tissue. Recently he started gnawing on his tail despite it being almost completely healed. The vet has recommended tail amputation because this will likely continue to occur. Tail wounds are very hard to get to heal. I am setting up this fundraiser because I am in a financial mess right now. My previous employer is now denying me long term disability payments. This situation is making it very difficult to even pay the monthly routine bills. I have taken Juno to the vet for surgical consult and he has had preoperative blood work done. He is scheduled to have his tail amputated On Thursday February 6th. If you can help with a donation in any amount Juno and I will be most grateful./ I am opting to have surgical pathology done to rule out a cancerous growth. At the young age of about 3 years this poor guy has seen some hard times. I rescued him from the outdoors in February of 2022. He was pretty ill but with the help of a great veterinary team he got healthy but remained very skittish. It has only been within the last few weeks that he is becoming less afraid and I was able to hold him. I love the way he feels in my arms. I always want to do the best for him. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, In addition, thank you in advance for anything you can donate. Your caring is sincerely appreciated.
Scans of preoperative expenses and surgery estimate are in the updates.
