Please help with IVF Treatment and Transport

Donation protected
Hi, i'm Carolyn, and my husband Leighn and I are in the process of going through IVF. We live in Argyll in Scotland, and have been trying for a family for nearly 4 years without success. We both come from loving and supportive families, and would love to have a family of our own. However, this dream is becoming more difficult than I ever could have imagined.

We have had one cycle of IVF treatment on the NHS, however unfortunately this was unsuccessful and resulted in the loss of our embryo, which has been very difficult for us both. My mental health has suffered badly as a result, and I have missed a lot of time off work as I have struggled to cope with the loss.
The hospital we have to attend for the IVF treatment is over 100 miles away from home. I don't drive due to having epilepsy, so getting to the hospital is two 3 hour plus train journeys. To attend each appointment, I had to miss a full day off work, leading to a loss of annual leave and wages. I had a total of 10 appointments in the last cycle (just over 1 month) that I needed to attend at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, with trains costing around £30 each time. There were occasional extra transport payments due to trains not running, which is common on this part of the railway. Unfortunately in my current position, I do not get sick pay for another 12 months. As a result we are struggling to cope with the costs of getting to and from treatment.

We will be due to go for another round of IVF, and after being off sick for some time, finding the money to make it to my appointments will be very difficult. If there is any chance you could even consider donating £2 towards our travel to the next round of IVF treatment I would be so so grateful. Hopefully lessening the burden will enable my mental health to improve, and give our next cycle more chance of success. We get a total of 3 IVF cycles on the NHS, so this next will be our second.

The process of the IVF journey has been more difficult than I could have imagined, and the strain on my mental health, especially following our first loss, has been so hard to take. I would be most grateful for any help at all that you might be able to give.
