On Saturday 3/13 I took Iaellan to the hospital as she was complaining of a migraine for over a week. When we arrived Iaellans blood pressure was well over 200 which if you're not familiar with BP that is stroke BP. We went in they did a CT and sent her on her way. We picked up her meds a BP cuff and went back home I continued to check every hr and it just wasn't moving. In the morning I took her to the new Halifax emergency center. Immediately upon arrival they let her know they were transferring her and admitting her to the ICU in Port Orange. To make a long story short we found out Iaellan needs surgery for stenosis of her renal artery. The artery by her kidney is closing and they have to put a stint in to open it back up. Obviously we were not expecting this to happen and it's been an unexpected cost with hospital bills and 3 ambulance rides. Iaellans surgery is scheduled for tomorrow but she will stay in iCU until she gets better. It takes a lot for us to ask for help but we both know we need it right now with us both being out of work. Even if it's a small amount we appreciate anything.
