Please help with Hugo’s vet bills

Please help with Hugo vet bills after the insurance has refused to pay out.

Hi my name is Alex I was the owner of Hugo (who has now sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago at 4 years of age)

Around 3 months ago Hugo started with seizures which then progressed into cluster seizures. I got him straight to the vets and it was decided it was best for Hugo to start on anti seizure medication, which at first we thought seemed to be having a positive effect. However Hugo then progressively became worse so he was sent for an emergency appointment with the neurological specialists, the scan revealed a massive tumor on the left side of his brain and there was nothing they could do to save him and the best choice was euthanasia.

I kept the insurance company updated continuously through out Hugo’s illness and they were informed of him going for the MRI scan.

The total cost of treatment and scans have reached nearly £6k.

The claim was rejected by my insurance company as Hugo’s DNA results he had less then 2% American pit bull in his genes. I had the DNA test done to prove he was not an XL bully but in fact a Dogue de Bordeaux cross.

I have managed to get together around 3k but any help with raising the rest would be so appreciated and I will be forever grateful. As any owner would, I was just trying to save my best friend.
