Please help with funeral expenses for Coach Reynaldo Lopez

Hello everyone. A few days ago, I learned that a well-known soccer coach in our community - Coach Reynaldo Lopez - suffered a medical emergency and was put on life support. I’m sorry to share that he is not going to make it. As a small business owner, it’s sometimes hard to live day-to-day, let alone plan for things such as your own funeral expenses. He leaves behind a beautiful daughter and two sweet grandbabies. His daughter and family do not have the means to cover funeral/memorial expenses. Anything you can do to help will help alleviate the additional financial stress this puts on his grieving family. If you are unable to donate, we understand and will accept your prayers and thoughts.

A little bit about Coach Rey… This coach is not any coach - he was a mentor to my son and many others across North Texas. He always demanded effort and respect from his players and tried to teach not only soccer, but life lessons.

He had a saying, “This game can give you 3 results... win, tie, or lose. But the 4th is NOT negotiable with me... Give all you have! Intensity at 300% always!”

Everything he did was for the kids, and he loved being on the field coaching and teaching. He took multiple teams and individual players to Spain, offering them training and competition, exposing them to a European style of play. I will be forever grateful for him and his dedication to the soccer community. RIP Coach Rey.
