Please Help With Frankie Grace's Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Susi Ming. I am fundraising to help a dog named Frankie Grace who was adopted from Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc. a little over four years ago. She had became instant best friends with Queenie the resident Bull Terrier; and they have remained inseparable to this day. Frankie Grace became ill and was hospitalized on Thursday, 3/24. Diagnostics revealed that she had bones and feathers in her intestinal tract; surgery revealed that the bones had punctured her intestinal lining so about six inches of the damaged intestine was removed and resectioned. With Frankie's prior obstruction history (she was owner surrendered to Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc. four years as her owners could not afford an obstruction surgery), her adopter (Leah) was extremely watchful with Frankie Grace. It is now suspected that Frankie Grace got a hold of a bird carcass that was missed during daily sweeps of what the neighbor's cats would kill and leave behind in the yard.
Leah had just paid for Queenie's costly surgery for mammary tumor removals so she now has financial constraints. We are turning to a kind and caring community to see if donations can be raised to help defray the surgery and hospitalization costs. No amount is too small. We know that there are so many other families in need and causes but we just had to try to save Frankie Grace. Queenie misses her terribly and can't wait to have her sister back home.
Frankie Grace is currently at (if all goes well, she is due to be discharged on Sunday, 3/27):
PETS Hospital
4854 S Bradley Rd #109, Orcutt, CA 93455
