Nine years ago, my daughter Elsa was diagnosed with grand mal epileptic seizures. Since then, she has been hospitalized at least four times yearly because of her attacks. My daughter is a single mother, full of life with a vibrant soul, who can lose her battle with epilepsy at anytime. We are asking for support to help fund a surgery that can save her life.

First, Elsa needs a Magnetoencephalography (MEG): a non-invasive medical test that measures the magnetic fields of her brain's electrical currents. It is performed to map brain function and to identify the exact location of the source of epileptic seizures. After that location is determined, she will be eligible for brain surgery (RNS) which can help to stop epileptic seizures. Sadly her insurance does not cover any of these procedures - this is why we need your help.
