Hi ….. I have a basal cell carcinoma on the side of my face and I am prescribed Erivedge for treatment to shrink the cancer so I can have it surgically removed. This has become a difficult struggle as I am unable afford the medication at this time. The medication is extremely expensive but, If I can just get the deductible met then my insurance will pay for it from then on, but it’s almost $2000 for the prescription & deductible the first time. I will need to get this first month paid for, and then the rest of the time they will provide it for a much lower charge. I’ve applied for co-pay assistance, but I only get Social Security every month. My social security is not low enough so they will not give me any assistance. I don’t receive much money in social security. I bearly even make $2000 a month, but it’s too much for any assistance. With paying daily living expenses I can’t afford to pay this with out months of saving after bills. I would really appreciate any help given. I’m currently on a trial month right now, but the trial ends in two weeks, and I am needing to order the next prescription for my insurance, but I need help to cover the co-pay and deductible.
