Please help with Bruno's surgery

This very handsome puppy, Bruno, was surrendered to RPC because he has a luxating patella. At just 11 months old, he has been in extreme pain, affecting his behavior in his prior home. Luxating patella is a painful condition in which the kneecap slips out of position. The groove the kneecap glides in is too shallow, causing frequent dislocation. The condition is very painful and affected dogs will cry out in pain or show changes in their behavior and temperaments due to the pain they are in. And if left untreated, the chronic dislocation will lead to arthritis in the knee, loss of motion and persistent pain.

Luckily, surgery can cure Bruno and allow him to lead a normal and pain-free life. Like other orthopedic surgeries, it is a pricey procedure, but very necessary to eliminate the pain Bruno is enduring. The estimate for Bruno's surgery is close to $3,000 and once again we are asking for help so we can get this surgery done as quickly as possible.
