Please help with Bob's recovery and independence

Donation protected
Hello all –

My brother, Bob Gentzel, was seriously injured in a car accident on November 28, 2020.  He broke his neck, right hip and fractured his pelvis.  He was blessed to be taken to Duke University Medical Hospital, where he had two surgeries – one to repair his spinal cord and the other to repair the hip and pelvis.  After several weeks at Duke recovering, Bob transitioned to Wake Med for intensive physical therapy.  He received excellent care at both Duke and Wake Med.

Currently, Bob is at a facility in Virginia Beach, working hard to regain strength to live as independently as possible.

He needs ALL of us, now more than ever!  He hopes to continue his care and therapy at his daughter’s home until he can, once again, live on his own.  Bob needs our help covering the cost of a handicapped-accessible apartment, in-home care, and physical therapists.  These costs are approximately $6000 per month.

Our goal is to raise funds to help pay for Bob’s medical costs and get him home to heal and learn to become as independent as possible, in a more comfortable environment, surrounded by his loving family.

Thank you!!!
