Recently, my dear friend Amy Carter was diagnosed with stage 1 level 1 invasive ductal carcinoma in her breast. While her prognosis is excellent, her employer-provided health insurance in Thailand is woefully inadequate to cover the rest of her cancer treatment. Please help me raise money for Amy's treatment so she can complete it quickly and benefit from her early diagnosis!
Amy has a surgery scheduled for January 5th. This sentinel lymph node biopsy with a possible axillary dissection will allow her to know if her breast cancer has spread to her lymph node. The surgery is crucial for determining the next steps in her healthcare journey. Unfortunately, her insurance only covers about $120 USD of the $3500 USD surgery. And, we expect Amy to have continued expenses related to radiation, chemotherapy, or hormone treatment depending on the results of her surgery on January 5th.
Signed,
Patti (& Amy)
