Please Help Wilma Beat Pneumonia!

This is the story of my friend Jenny, her husband and her new baby Wilma whom she adopted last Friday afternoon 5/31.
Anyone who knows Jenny knows what an amazing human she is... funny, kind, sweet and loving. Her last baby "Weezie" a very happy and spoiled pomeranian passed away 2.5 yrs ago, 7 days after her wedding. She and Casey waited this long before adopting another baby to make sure they were both ready.
Jenny reached out to me about adopting a new baby a few weeks ago and has been searching online and going to shelters and rescues to find that "perfect fit" for her and her husband.
She finally found that fit on Friday at Wagmor Holistic Pet Center in Studio City. She saw the dog several times and finally decided to make it official.
As sweet as this dog is, she was very mellow which is not normal for a 5 month old puppy, sleeping a lot and coughing a bit.
They didn't think much of it until last night when she started vomiting and was having a hard time breathing. Jenny and her husband rushed this new puppy to the emergency vet in Studio City and by the time the initial testing was done, they were told that she has pneumonia and possibly something else. They had to put her in a oxygen chamber to level out her breathing. They couldn't do anything else for her unless they got a $5000 deposit. So of course they gave them their CC.
Well poor Wilma is still at the vet and they estimate between $8000-$9000 for treatment.
Jenny is a yoga teacher and as good of a teacher as she is, the money isn't great. This is a HUGE amount of money for them to take on for a dog that they owned for less then 30 hours.
Let's all help, do what we can. Forgo your Starbucks today and give what you can. Lets get Wilma healthy and back home where she belongs with her mom and dad who love her!
