Hi everyone. This is my dad. His name is Wayne. He is 65 years old. He is the sole provider for our family and for our household of 9 people. Without him we have nothing.
6 months ago he was away at work in Chicago And had a heart attack, was admitted to the hospital out there & was diagnosed with heart failure. Following that he was out of work for a while which almost cost us everything including our home. By a stroke of luck he was eventually able to get another job & he was just starting to finally get us back on our feet. But then this morning he was traveling from our home in Taylor, Arizona to his job in Globe, Arizona which is about a 2 hour drive. However, he only made it to Showlow (15 minutes from home) when he started having trouble breathing. As in he was literally unable to breathe at all. By some miracle he was able to get himself to Showlow hospital where they diagnosed him with yet another heart attack, pneumonia, and his aortic valve is completely blocked and must be surgically replaced in order to save his life and because of this he had to be life flighted down to phoenix for surgery as our hospital is not equipped to handle such a surgery.
Following surgery he will be out of work for about 8 months. So we unfortunately again find ourselves in a position where we risk losing everything. & before anyone jumps
to “well why doesn’t anyone else work”
my mother has breast cancer, 2 of us have cerebral palsy and can’t work, one is a 4 year old, one is a liver transplant recipient and also deemed unable to work, my boyfriend does work but does not make enough to support our family on his own, one is pregnant, and her boyfriend is actively looking for work but has had no luck thus far. So as you can see, my dad truly is our SuperMan and he is vital to this family.
We are going to need any and all help that we can get with household bills and food & such as well as help with the cost of getting to and from phoenix to be with my dad as we live 3 hours away from the hospital he is in. Which obviously will also require motel rooms and food for the family for the length of his stay and while he is out of work. I unfortunately, at this time we are unsure of the timeframe of either and the uncertainty of both and of his health and If he can/will even pull through this is TERRIFYING!
So if you can find it in your heart to donate, even the smallest amount makes a world of difference. But if you can’t donate then we do understand but even if you are unable please PLEASE share this and pray AS HARD as you possibly can! Lord knows he needs it! Thank you all so much!
