Please help Waffle Princess Sarah stay housed

Hi friends. I have updated this appeal because I am about to be evicted. I have been unemployed and unemployable since the start of the pandemic (multiple lung illnesses). I have been receiving funds and eviction protection from the CA Covid Rent Relief fund but those funds and protections end on 3/31/22. I am looking for a place to move, but my income is very low (SSDI only). I have applied to several local charities but the waitlists are very long. I am sad to be asking for help, but I need it now. 

 

Car update: I was able to get my car fixed, and today it passed smog check!!! Thank you all so very much <3

 

Original post: I need your help to fix my 1990 Toyota Corolla Station wagon, please. Somebody broke into the car while parked in my apartment parking area and badly damaged the ignition. My auto insurance doesn't cover break-ins. Additionally, I have been driving with a broken muffler, and I need to replace the muffler and get the vehicle smog checked. I have been unemployed and unemployable since the start of the pandemic because of my poor health. My income is currently limited to SSDI. My car is the one thing I own to keep me functional, shop, and care for my needs. I estimate that it will cost around $1000 in parts and labor plus DMV fees. Please help me get my car back up and running as soon as possible so I can be a functional Waffle Princess once more. Even $5 will be a huge help. I am so very grateful to you all <3
