My name is Lori Netzen and I am one of the many friends of the wonderful Vivian Von Visger.

This past September, Vivian developed a severe stomach ache along with extreme shortness of breath. Once at the E.R., scans and bloodwork determined that she had an extreme buildup of fluid in the right plural tissue, thus a struggle to breathe. A tube was inserted to allow the release of the fluid. Months later, Vivian still needs the drain. Through the tests of the fluid and bloodwork, Vivian was diagnosed with metastatic plural effusion due to ovarian and omentum cancer. She started immediate chemotherapy and is scheduled for extensive surgery.

Anyone with the privilege of knowing Vivian can agree that she is a loving grandmother, mother, aunt and sister and friend. Her dedication to her job of 20 years is exemplary. Vivian is caring, giving, and community minded. She is an active member of Valley Vineyard Church and contributor to the children’s ministry, the Elks’s Club of Burbank and feeding our homeless in our community. Everything that Vivian does comes from her heart. She is focused in achieving goodness within her community.

We are raising these funds to assist Vivian with her daily mounting of medical expenses, including ongoing doctor’s appointments, cancer treatments, and upcoming surgery.
