Please help Vince

Hi my name is Beth, I’m setting this up on behalf of my dear friend/ex-brother-in-law Vince Ursitti. Vince has been having trouble seeing out of his left eye (blurred and dark cloudy vision) and it is getting worse each day.

I finally got him to go to a doctor, though he does not currently have insurance. Vince is in between jobs, and has no savings.

After the exam, we were told by the Doctor that he has optic papillitis (inflammation of the optic nerve). The Doctor wanted Vince to have separate MRI’s of his optic nerve and brain ASAP, because it could be a tumor or lesion on the brain, which can cause permanent loss of vision in that eye, or much worse…it could be deadly.

This can also be caused by bacteria/viruses in his spinal fluid, or it could be an early sign of MS. Vince needs multiple diagnostic tests that he does not currently have the insurance or funds to pay for.

Vince needs 2000 dollars for the MRI’s, plus additional funds for the other medical tests/exams and living expenses during this unfortunate trial.

We would appreciate reaching an immediate goal of 5000 dollars to see Vince thru the first part of his illness.

Please, no matter how big or small, can you help Vince during his time of need? Every penny will be put to good use.
