Please Help Valentin live a normal life

Hello. My name is Valentin. I am originally from Bulgaria. I moved to the United States to make a better future for myself. Ever since I was a child, I’ve had an arachnoid cyst in my head, which caused me to experience non-epileptic seizures throughout my life. Fortunately, the medical system in the United States enabled me to live a seizure-free life by the use of medication for the past one year. I was able to experience the joy of life like never before. I made new friends and secured a job, without worrying that my health condition would deprive me from living a normal life.
Currently, I live in Glendale, Arizona. In June 2021, I started experiencing serious health issues that led me to lose my job and income. On June 28th, after gym, I felt severe pain from my waist down. In the next few days, the pain worsened and my legs swelled. I tried enduring the pain thinking it would go away eventually. Little did I know, I was wrong. The pain suddenly increased to such an extent that I had to lay down on the sidewalk. People were stopping by, asking me if I needed help. One kind person gave me a ride to the bus stop so I could get to work. When I arrived at work, my coworkers were shocked by the condition I was in and advised me to take a warm bath and get a massage. I went for a massage and then got home and took a bath. I spent the next 3 days hiding in my room, because the pain was so severe that I couldn’t eat or sleep. On the third day, my landlord and his friend found me in my room and were disturbed by the condition I was in. They put me in a wheelchair, gave me some medication and took me to a chiropractor. The chiropractor saw how bad my condition was and sent me straight to the emergency room. The doctors told me that at that point my legs were bigger than the rest of my body. I was suffering from a severe case of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). I went through 3 surgeries in the next 3 days (July 6, 7, and 8). The blood clots had reached all the way to my waist, but the doctors were able to save my legs and my life, preventing the thrombosis from reaching my heart. On July 13th, I was moved to a rehabilitation hospital. It took another week for me to just be able to stand on my legs. After a couple more weeks, I was finally able to go home. However, instead of feeling joy, I started feeling stressed and depressed, because I was now a disabled young person with a ton of hospital bills. I would have to be on blood thinners for life, but at least my life was saved.
The hardships didn’t end there. While I was in Starbucks a week later, due to the blood thinners, I got an external bleeding from a vein on my leg and I fainted before the paramedics arrived. A few days later, the same happened in my sleep and I woke up in a bed soaked in blood. I spent that night in the emergency room. While being monitored overnight, the nurses rushed into my room and said that due to stress, I had developed arrhythmia and that my heart had stopped for 5-6 seconds while I was asleep. The next day they released me and told me to drink a lot of water and get plenty of rest.
I am making this Go Fund me page, because I had no other choice. I have applied for disability insurance, but the process takes over a year and I started experiencing financial problems, in addition to my health issues. The city of Glendale was generous enough to cover my rent for a few months, to help prevent me from becoming homeless. In order for me to cover my living and continuous medical expenses, I had to swallow my pride and create this Go Fund me page. I hope this resonates with you and if you are not able to help financially, please send some positive thoughts my way.
Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Valentin
