If you know Valerie Wright, then you know that she was the most caring, most loving and a true woman of God. Unfortunately, we lost our phenomenal mother on December 17th after a long battle with a blood infection that traveled from her dialysis graph to her heart. After the doctors had to remove the defibrillator to due to the infection surrounding it, she suffered a cardiac arrest. That was the first of four. The fourth is what took our Queen, our most beautiful beloved away from us.
My mom was the type of person that as soon as you met her, you were her baby. She was mama and grandma to practically everyone she met. She was a ray of sunshine when you felt down. Playful, caring, joyful. You never forgot her once you met her and now we're ready to send her off on her homecoming.
While us, her children never wanted to ask, unfortunately we have run into an issue with the insurance. Due to my mama's lifetime of health issues, life insurance had always been very limited and at the very least, we had hoped to have enough to pay for her funeral.
We just discovered that one of mama's insurance wasn't normal life insurance but accidental and we couldn't claim it. So we now, are falling short in sending my mama a proper send off.
This is where we ask you all to help. We are in need of donations to pay for the funeral. Any little will help and will be truly appreciated. We want to do my mama right. I know she's in heaven now and I want her to smile down on us because we were able to send her home.
Her youngest daughters Jennifer and Jacquelyn Dixson (aka Lil Girl and Big Girl if you knew us from our Matchbox days) are the ones handling everything. If you have any questions or want to give in an alternate way please contact me (Jennifer) through Go-fund me. I don't have Facebook.
