Please, help us get a new roof!!

Hi, my name is Octavius Hernandez. Me and my brother, Octavian Hernandez, are owners of a house on the north side of Lansing, Michigan. So recently (March 2nd), we have been told by the Code of Enforcement Officer to fix our house up and had a deadline of April 1st, and weren't allowed to live in there until everything's up to code since it's considered to be "unsafe". That was very stressful, since it was so unrealistic to fix everything up in such a short period of time. Luckily, our cousin, Evita Lynne, was able to convince them to move the deadline to May 31st. Currently, we've been staying at our neighbors house, and our mother (Betra) has been hopping around place after place. She was able to get shelter at the Community Mental Health center. In case you're wondering our mother has severe paranoia schizophrenia, and we took her in a few years ago. Anyway, we've been getting loans, spending lots of money in order to fix things like the floors, walls, ceilings, etc. It's come to the point where we need to fix the roof up. After calculating everything we need, it adds up to about $2500. We are currently running out of funds to be able to cover it all. If we don't get the house up to par by the deadline (May 31st), we'll start to get fined $500 each day after, resulting in losing the house, which is something we don't want to do! Both my brother and I were given the house by our grandmother (Maria Elena Hernandez) before she passed away on September 28th, 2013 (both of 18 years old at the time). He and I have been attending college (LCC & Michigan State University) and working full time, in order to pay for the house!! She's put so much effort to keep this house within the years, and we really don't want to lose it! We won't!That's all that him and I have to think of her everyday!!! She took us in 15 years ago instead of having the court put us in foster care, since they ruled that our mother was mentally unfit to take care of us. I apologize if I'm going off on any tangents, but I just want you to know some of the adversaries we've dealt with at such a young age. If you can support during this huge ordeal, that would be great!! Anything would really help!! It's been really hard to do everything going to school everyday and working! Please share this!!!
