We need to waterproof the foundation of our beloved building ASAP. March & April showers are in full season! When we restored this historic home in 2022 , built in the 1930’s in historic Vine City in Atlanta, we were excited to provide a place of operations for entrepreneurs, small businesses and grassroots non-profits. But who knew how damaging the torrential rains could become?! Our facility is more than just bricks and mortar; along with the entrepreneurs in the building, it's a crucial place for children in need of a safe space to increase their physical, mental and emotional wellness, by being the headquarters for two non-profit programs for low-income families. Temporary repairs aren’t sustainable, and without professional waterproofing of the basement, we risk losing more than just a structure—we could lose a core part of our community. Your support will ensure The Welch Center will continue to provide programs and education for the children and families in under-resourced communities.
