Daisy is the 8 yr old Chihauhua belonging to Sarah, a single mother, and her 8 yr old son. She loves to snuggle, explore and hump the legs of dogs much bigger than herself to show them she's still a top dog.
Sarah found out this week that Daisy has a condition called pyrometra; an inflammatory infection of the uterus that is lethal if it goes untreated.
She's a sweet girl and she deserves every chance she can get to keep playing and snuggling with her family. Her family would be devastated to lose her.
The vet has given her antibiotics to try to stabilize her, an xray and will be performing an ultrasound to see if surgery can help her.
My name is Lydia and I am starting this go fund me to try to help out with the costs that have and would be involved in trying to save the precious little dog's life so she can keep giving kisses to her best friends.
Every little bit will help, even if we can't get to the goal, it will help Sarah and Leland do everything they can so save their special girl without having to weigh their savings against the life of their beloved pet.
