On Friday 15th November 2024 our dear friend Ayla was diagnosed with metastatic stage 2 breast cancer. Ayla is 33 years old and a hardworking single mother of 3 beautiful children.

With two chemotherapy options, one being free but with risks of significant life long complications and the other at a cost of $6000 with less complications we are hoping to raise some money to help pay for that and ongoing costs of living.

Ayla began chemotherapy in December and will be continuing treatment for 6 months. Following that she will undergo surgery. During this time she will be unable to work. Some of you may know Ayla. For those who don't, Ayla is one of those special human beings who makes everyone around her a better person. For as long as i have known her, she has been dedicated to the needs of others from raising her children to caring for kids as an educator at the childcare centre where she works in the Hawkesbury.

Regardless of the adversity that she has faced throughout her life she always has a smile on her face and a heart of gold.
