Christopher’s Reason is named after Christopher Perrotto who last his battle with addiction on April 10, 2011 at the age of 22. Christopher was prescribed pain killers after a minor car accident and was addicted within 5 days and within 2 years of fighting this addiction he lost his battle. His mother, my sister Ann Marie Perrotto tried endlessly to get Christopher treatment on Staten Island, but that wasn’t meant to be. She is dedicating her life to help others so no one has to suffer the heartbreaking loss that she has from this disease.
“I could not help my son on earth but I will help him in heaven. If his story will help others, my sons death will not go in vain. I will bring treatment to Staten Island that we wish we had for Christopher and our family. My son did not have a chance, but you do.”

We have not received any grants since 2019 and funding since Covid started in 2020. We have been receiving donations of clothing, food and toiletries from family and friends. We have exhausted all means to pay rent, utilities and payroll.
Please help us to stay open. New York needs the help that we give. We are saving lives one person at a time. Anything that anyone can spare can help us. Nothing is too small. All is appreciated.
