Hi, we’re Nat & Jen.

We’ve recently taken in a mother cat and her three kittens after a friend found them on the street. He tried several rescues for help, but was advised to put them back outside as no space was available. We couldn’t bear the thought of that, so we opened our home to them instead.

Anyone who knows us knows we’re a little cat-mad already, with 11 of our own rescues at home on our small holding, along with our other animals; chickens, horses and dogs. Of which some are also rescues. But we couldn’t turn our backs on this little family.

It’s also worth noting that all of our other cats have been fully cared for at our own expense, neutered, chipped, flea and worm treated. In fact, just yesterday we paid £310 for an emergency vet trip for Spud. We take full responsibility for our own rescues, and this fundraiser is purely to give this new little family the good start they deserve.

The kittens and mum are going to the vet for a check-up, and the mum will need neutering straight away to prevent another litter. The kittens will also need vaccinations, neutering when old enough, microchips, flea and worm treatments and of course, food and milk in the meantime.
