Please help us survive this horrifying reality

Peace be upon you.

I am Muhammad Shehab from Gaza. I am 23 years old.

The war has left us homeless: we have been displaced several times and now live in a tent in Deir Al-Balah. My mother suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease, and relies on daily medications, which have become expensive and difficult to find.

My father died when I was only 3 months old and my brother was 3 years old. My mother paid all her money for my university. My mother sacrified everything so i could complete my bachelor's degree in accounting and have a bright future, despite the ongoing occupation blockade on Gaza.

I was about to finish and receive my degree, when the war came. The occupation destroyed everything. Our neighborhood, our lives, our future: The university was bombed before I got to finish and receive my degree. We have been displaced several times and don’t know if our house is still standing or habitable at all, if we ever get to return.

It’s a matter of time before we receive the notice to evacuate again, with no safe place to go to.

Our only chance at life in health and dignity is to leave Gaza. With this Gofundme I hope to survive this horrifying reality we have to live in, by covering our basic needs, and hopefully be able to leave Gaza with my mother and my brother.
