I am sharing this on behalf of the Serrato family due to an unimaginable loss last night. Cody, Katelyn, Cody Jr, Brynlee, Talon, and Beckham have lost their 9 month old son and baby brother, Kade Michael Serrato.

Kade was born on March 14, 2025, and from the very beginning he was such a strong and sweet little fighter. After being born with a rare heart defect, truncus arteriosus, Kade bravely went through two open-heart surgeries this year and was doing so well. There were no signs that anything was wrong, which makes this loss even more heartbreaking.

In just nine short months, Kade filled his family’s lives with so much love, joy, and light. Losing him so close to Christmas makes this tragedy especially more painful for those who loved him most.

Because of how sudden this was and everything the family has already faced, they are not prepared for funeral expenses or time away from work.

We are hoping to raise funds to help ease that burden so they can focus on grieving and honoring their beautiful baby boy.
