UPDATE 3/10/26: Yesterday we received news that absolutely knocked the wind out of our lungs. The tumors that were removed were cancerous. As hard as it is to write this, my mother promised to fight for us so we must keep trying.

The next step is to find out if her heart will stand the anesthesia she'll need for the surgery that will remove her breast. If all goes well and when we raise the funds, we'll move forward with the surgery. She will need to go through radiation therapy and chemotherapy after the surgery.

Hi everyone!

It's hard for me to open up about these things. If you're reading this, I truly appreciate that you're taking the time to read this. I'm reaching out to our community to ask for help with funding a surgery my mother needs.

My mother started feeling pain and found a lump in her breast back in October. The hospital released her, saying they didn't find anything and she was fine. I'm glad she didn't listen to them.

In January, she scheduled an appointment with our family doctor because the pain got worse. My sister and I pooled together what funds we could manage so that my mother could get tests done and medication for the pain, inflammation, and high blood pressure. We waited anxiously for the results of her biopsy, and, thank God, the tumor is benign.

Although the tumor is benign, she's not out of danger yet. The longer the tumor stays inside her, the higher the chance it could become malignant. Her wonderful doctor was able to bring down the cost of the surgery to $1350. This is just the cost of the surgery. She will be off work to recover for a month. My family would be immensely grateful for any help towards the cost of the surgery. I love my family so much, I'm sure you do too. I want to do anything and everything I can to make sure we have as much time as humanly possible together.
