Hello, my name is Blessing. My husband and I are the sole providers for our family—not only for our children here in Canada, but also for our extended family back home in Africa.

Some of you may remember that about seven years ago, my mother was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. At that time, I reached out for support to help fund her treatment, including efforts to bring her care to Canada. Despite our best efforts, personal sacrifices, and private loans we took on in addition to the funds raised, my mother sadly passed away. We have been steadily working to repay those loans, but last year, the financial strain became overwhelming, and we lost all our savings because of the sheer amount of interest on the loans.

We have been trying to rebuild our lives from this profound loss, but our family has been faced with yet another heartbreaking challenge. My mother-in-law has fallen ill, and as the primary providers for our family, we have been asked to help cover her medical expenses. Unfortunately, we are no longer in a position to do so on our own, which is why I have humbly organized this fundraising campaign.

I kindly ask that you consider our situation and support us in any way you are able. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean more to us than words can express—especially during these difficult economic times. Those who know me know that I would not reach out like this unless the situation were truly urgent.
