Hello, my name is Verónica. My partner Juan was detained on January 12 and was deported this March, leaving my 2 year old daughter and I to fend for ourselves. Juan was the primary breadwinner for our family and without him I am struggling to pay for rent, diapers, food, and everything we need to live. He was also helping send money back to Colombia to buy medicine for my 10 year old daughter who is living there with my mom awaiting an operation for her heart condition.
