We should be laughing about all the ways Malinois make people bleed.

No one should be terrified that their healthy dog is in danger after a simple spay.

But here we are. This morning, Nancy dropped Blissy, formerly Lilith, for a simple spay. Tonight, she dropped her off at Dove Lewis as she bled all over everything and everyone.

The vets are currently stumped. Bliss is a fighter, we know, but her body is betraying her right now.

Bliss is a Sloan x Phelan daughter, the mother of two phenomenal litters, a Schutzhund dog, a flyball dog, a therapy dog, a nose work dog, a demo dog, and most importantly, Nancy’s best friend.

The very last thing Nancy should worry about is money.

We have no quote, but we’re going to work with what we’ve got right now.

The vets are stumped and while they’ve been able to slowly raise her platelets a bit, they’re still not recovering as they should and everyone is very worried.
