Please Help Us Say Goodbye and Put Erick to Rest
Donation protected
My name is Raquel (pictured to the left). My little brother, Erick (pictured to the right), passed away on May 25th at the age of 47.
Erick struggled with severe mental health issues most of his adult life, which had a tremendous impact on those around him and the direction of his own life. He was a true victim of society, not getting the help he needed before something tragic happened, even after two stand-offs with law enforcement due to his untreated schizophrenic delusions. Instead of serving his final years in a mental institution where he could have received treatment, he spent those years in a state prison, where he faced multiple threats to his own life. In prison, he found grace and forgiveness through the Lord our Savior. God and numbing his pain were all that comforted him. Now all the family can do is mourn him and prepare to say goodbye.
We are all devastated by Erick’s unexpected loss and are unprepared for the costs of a funeral service and the related expenses. We want to give Erick a memorial that allows the family to remember the person he once was and say our last goodbyes.
I am asking for donations to help cover the cost of Erick’s funeral and travel expenses for his immediate family coming from various states. We need to raise $12,500 by Friday, June 3rd, to afford these expenses.
Erick leaves behind siblings Monica Lampert (pictured at the bottom), Vince Lampert (pictured in the middle) and Raquel Lewis, nieces Christina Ratley, Nicole Ratley, Michelle Gallier, Natalie Sinclair and Kassidy Lampert, and daughter Stormie Lampert.
Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
