Hi, my name is Arleatha [Peaches], and I am fundraising for my friend Sherra! Six months ago, she had a severe stroke that completely changed her life! She has had to learn to walk and talk all over again. She still struggles daily with her speech and reading. She cannot use her hands to type, text or use a computer. As a career business professional, even her verbal skills are diminished, and she cannot work at all. We have been unable to get any assistance from the city, state or federal government AND no disability from her employer until she has been out six months. Her savings have been depleted, and we don't know what else to do. Banks DO NOT wait; we don't want her to lose the home she worked so hard to purchase as a single mother finally. This story is not new, and we understand that, BUT it is very personal to all her friends and family.
