I am posting for our Facebook group @dogs & cats of calis & jiva beach.
Rosie first appeared to our group back in March. We believe she was dumped and has been living on the streets for a while due to her matting and the condition she was in. We really wanted to help save Rosie back then. She was very scared and very timid and it took a while for someone to get close to her. We was then made aware that her teats was full of milk meaning she had puppy’s somewhere. So we couldn’t save her and leave her pups behind. It took a while for the pups to be located. Another local charity have been feeding Rosie and her pups at there feeding station just down the road. The charity also took Rosie in for neutering, unfortunately when Rosie had an xray the vet noticed she had an enlarged heart, lung infection and gas in the intestines this ment the operation couldn’t go ahead. Rosie will need more tests and medication for her condition. Rosie and her pups need to be saved from the streets. With the current law in place in turkey and hundreds of dogs being collected nation wide each week. Everyday they are on the streets they are in danger of being collected. Animal cruelty is at an all time high with people taking the law into there own hands. Parvo virus, distemper and other disease and virus are still common and spread around turkey. Without vaccinations, clean water and shelter Rosie and her pups are at risk of catching these diseases they simply wouldn’t survive them without vaccinations and medical care. Rosie may also be vulnerable due to her condition and her pups need her.
To save Rosie and her pups we need to fundraise to cover the initial foster fees, microchip, vaccinations, kennel cough, bravecto, worming, passport and microchip. Rosie may also need further tests and medication.
This is only the start and we will need to continue fundraising to cover the foster care each month, blood test and transport to the uk.
please please help if you can even if it’s £1 it will all add up. Please share Rosie’s story. Let’s save Rosie and her pups and give them a stable happy healthy future.
