Update:

Romeo was able to get the surgery he needed and is doing better than ever. We are beyond grateful for all the generosity and support that we’ve received over the last couple of days, it truly means the world to us.

October 25th,

Hi friends, our bestest boy Romeo just got admitted to the hospital. We’ve been told that he has stones blocking his urethra and that if he doesn’t get emergency surgery his bladder will rupture and he will die. We are absolutely heartbroken. He was happy and healthy a couple of days ago. This has taken us all off guard. The vet has told us that we are looking at $10,000-$12,000 for the surgery. We are asking our friends, family or anyone who can if they can please help. We will show proof of the vet bill.

We will do anything it takes for our special boy and are obviously prepared to do whatever it takes to cover as much of these costs as we can out of pocket. Our hope is that you might be able to support us with whatever you can, and that with a lot of little support, we can put a dent in our financial burden without putting anyone out. My/our promise to you in return is to 100% reciprocate this if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. I am embarrassed to ask for help here, but we just were not prepared for an outcome like this.
